Scope of Legal Services

Valerie Willis Law Firm & Associates (“the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides legal services in accordance with the scope defined in each client’s engagement agreement. Representation is limited to the matters explicitly agreed upon in writing. No attorney-client relationship is formed until a signed engagement agreement and retainer are received.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for reviewing documents, responding to communications, and attending scheduled meetings or court appearances. Legal fees are billed in accordance with the engagement agreement. The Firm may charge hourly rates, flat fees, or contingency fees depending on the nature of the case. Clients are responsible for reimbursing costs and expenses incurred on their behalf, including filing fees, expert witness fees, and courier charges. Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise specified.
